twice a week, for some of us, we enter a building, we call it church, and we go there, some of us very proud of the church we belong to, proud of the worship team, and how good the pastor is. i asked a seaferer, "how does it feel, not being able to go to church for 9 months?" to which he responded, we are the church. mahn, i could only smile. we forot this didnt we? we caught up in traditon, the type of songs we sing, how loud the pastor can scream, and the emotion we feel on that sunday, thats religion my friend. we are the church, not the building you go to. I have become tired of this idea of
church, some of us obssessed with how well the pastor can perform an exegesis, we get hyped up on emotion and feelings.
be the church, go follow jesus, (who is the word) go live out your faith, go love the lost, give to the poor, feed the hungry.
p.s..yes please, Go to church, i love the fellowship there, but never let church become the buidling we attend
